STRIPED BOOKMARK FOUNDER/OWNER, Lori Whillier

I am 100% a growing artist. I've been teaching children in grades K-6 for over 20 years in the public school system. I taught various grades and worked as a Visual Arts specialist at Virginia Park School for 14 years. Working my entire career in arts based schools has helped me develop a deeper passion for the arts, specifically how they transform people and transcend time.

I am currently working with the Edmonton Public School Division as a Visual Arts Consultant. I create supports and professional development for K-12 teachers in the area of Visual Arts.

I'm married, my twin boys are in grade 11 and we own a black purring machine named Crackie and a Bernese Mountain dogs named Millie. 🖤

For me, teaching art has allowed me to meet some amazing little artists, get to know some great families and continue to bring my passion for the arts to others.

Hardworking, creative, dedicated, kind, and a true leader. Anna can be found assisting during classes or leading with her own inspirational work during artist trading card workshops. Not to mention, being an all out phenomenal young human.

Carrie, the owner of Two Carrots Studio & Co. is a big cheerleader of The Striped Bookmark. She shared her studio space with us for a couple of years and we are thankful for all that she has done to support our little adventure.
